Day Tour at the Nairobi City Center

Nairobi is one of the most interesting cities in Africa and has some awesome places you can enjoy visiting, whether you are a visitor or a resident. The city began in 1899 and grew as a central point for the Kenya–Uganda Railway. Nairobi comes from the Masai word “Enkare Nyrobi,” meaning “the place of cool water.”

Brief Itinerary

You will start your day with a pickup from your hotel within Nairobi at 8:30 am with our professional guide/driver and start the drive to the Nairobi National Museum. The Nairobi National Museum was founded in 1920 and established at its present location in 1929. Want to learn about the country’s history, its people, culture, and art? Then this is a place you can start with. The museum aims to interpret Kenya’s rich heritage and offers a one-stop for visitors to sample the country’s rich heritage both for education and leisure. It is open on all 356 days throughout the year from 0830 hrs. to 1730 hrs.
At 10:30 am, leave the museum and start the drive to the city center, where we will find parking and start the walk to the August Memorial Park. The August 7th Memorial Park is located at the 1998 bomb blast scene along Haile Selassie Avenue. It is dedicated to those who lost their lives and contains a notice board listing their names. This will take like an hour.
Then we will drive to the Kenyatta International Conference Centre, which is an internationally renowned venue for conferences, meetings, exhibitions, and special events and among the tallest buildings in Nairobi. You can go to the rooftop and enjoy a marvelous and exclusive view of the city. This will take an hour.
You will later be taken to a restaurant where you can enjoy delicious African dishes. (OPTIONAL).
Later is drop-off to your hotel.

Day Tour To Fairview Coffee Farm

You will be picked up at your hotel, homestay, or residence at 8:30 am OR 10:30 am and start the drive to Fairview Coffee Farm. The pickup time will sometimes depend on the location of where you will be staying. Then you will start the drive to Fairview Coffee Farm.

Upon arrival, you will be given the history of the farm by the professional staff. The second stage will be visiting the coffee factory, and here you will learn about coffee processing and all the stages it entails. The third stage will be visiting the coffee lab where roasting is done. Here you will also be able to test the coffee, and you can also have a chance to buy some coffee to take back home.
Later you will go to the garden where you will be served coffee and cookies, and there is also milk that you can add.
Later, drop off at your hotel, which marks the end of the tour.

Afternoon Tour to Bomas of Kenya

The Bomas of Kenya is a cultural center at Langata, near the main gate to Nairobi National Park. The talented resident artists perform traditional dances and songs taken from the country’s various tribal groups, including Arab-influenced Swahili taarab music, Kalenjin warrior dances, Embu drumming, and Kikuyu circumcision ceremonies. It’s touristy, of course, but it’s still a spectacular afternoon out.
